1907-Né André Jaubert, à Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône, France).
-Côtoie Fernand Contandin/Fernandel à l'école communale.
1921-Décès de son père.
-Débute dans le spectacle en chantant dans des bals de quartier. Ses imitations de Maurice Chevalier sont très remarquées, y compris par l'intéressé.
1924-Remporte le concours Artistica de Marseille.
1925-Se produit au Clos de Mayol, jardin de Félix Mayol, à Toulon (Var, France).
1926-Tournée dans le circuit Paramount où il assure des attractions entre les films.
1927/1928-Music hall, à Bordeaux (Gironde, France).
1929-Débute sa carrière parisienne.
1934-Rencontre Marcel Pagnol.
1935-Création de l'opérette "Ignace", au côté de Fernandel, qui restera toujours son grand ami, lui procurant de nombreux rôles dans ses films.
1944-Création de la chanson "Bébert", son plus grand succès personnel au music-hall.
1949-Première tournée au Canada.
1952-Deuxième tournée au Canada.
25-6-1952-Épouse la comédienne-chanteuse Ginette Baudin (1921/01341971). Une fille, Dominique.
1959-Troisième tournée au Canada.
26-3-1971-Décès de Ginette Baudin, son épouse.
1972/1975-Plus de mille représentations de revues au Moulin Rouge de Paris (Seine, France), dont il devient l'un des administrateurs.
1976-Tournée en France et en Belgique avec l'opérette "L'auberge du Cheval Blanc".
9-7-1989-Décédé à Paris (Île-de-France, France).
1989-Publication de son autobiographie, "On ne danse plus la java chez Bébert".
