SUJET : Gay Lawrence, un détective privé surnommé 'Le Faucon', est sur le point de partir pour la ville où il doit épouser sa fiancée, Helen Reed. Mais une mystérieuse jeune fille, Rita Mara, sollicite son aide pour récupérer une formule secrète permettant de fabriquer des diamants synthétiques. Ses hésitations le conduisent à se faire kidnapper par le gang pour lequel travaille Rita. L'assistant du Faucon, Jonathan Doyle, remonte la piste des kidnappeurs et fait intervenir la police. Mais le chef des gangsters parvient à s'échapper. Le Faucon continue sa chasse…
